Toyota FJ Cruiser – a superior substitute to the Land Cruiser

The new Toyota FJ Cruiser comes in the style SUV, based on the 4Runner platform model and design styles adopted in the Land Cruiser. The automatic transmission is standard on all models Cruiser. The FJ Cruiser 4×2 is available with anti-slip system, traction control and ABS. The Cruiser 2009 comes with a 4.0 liter V6 engine that produces 291 horsepower of energy and achieves fuel economy of 17 miles per gallon in city streets and 21 mpg on highways. It is offered with five-speed automatic transmission and can accommodate up to five passengers.

The new model would come with the color changes, fuel economy and engine. The exterior body style of the car looks as elegant as the interiors. The interior consists of materials resistant to moisture. Safety features include stability control system, traction control system and antilock disc brakes.

The security features on the FJ Cruiser include torso side airbags, side airbags curtain airbags for both row seats and stability control system of vehicles. In tests conducted by the IIHS, the vehicle insured superior in terms of safety and got rated as good in general, both in side impact tests and in frontal crash tests. It is rated five stars for frontal driver protection, the same for the rear passenger side and driver side protection, rated four stars for front passenger protection and rollover.
