Automakers looking for a famous face in support of their cars often turn to movie stars or pop stars, but Nissan’s marketing tactics for their JUKE UK is slightly different. 22-year-old Bonita Norris, the youngest woman to climb Everest is the face of a baby crossover style radically. Bonita “shows the qualities respected by Nissan and characterize the new JUKE” and was chosen for outstanding personal achievement and natural sense of adventure.
Swapping climbing mountains thick thin lycra, Miss Norris said: “I am delighted to support the launch of Nissan JUKE because I believe in British support, and anything that creates jobs and pride to this country has my support. JUKE challenges stereotypes and breaks the mold, which can relate to that. is unconventional and I have a spirit of adventure that leads me to do different things and this is what represents the Juke.
The Juke will be built in Sunderland with the Qashqai and Qashqai 2 Nissan and is obviously getting the most out of the “built in Britain” label to attract the locals. The Juke launch in the UK is 24 September, but Nissan has collected more than 2,000 reservations in the United Kingdom and more than 15,000 orders across Europe, receiving mirroring equally well in Japan.
